“Blood Stained” is a digital portrait of Astarion Ancunín, a high elven Rogue,
and vampire spawn from Baldur’s Gate 3. This piece captures the dark
intensity of his character, focusing on his face with blood, staining his
features, and left side of his white curls, as if he just fed on his prey. His
eyes are closed, and his head tilts back, savoring the moment in a state of
pure ecstasy, relishing in his dark nature.

Created with digital pen-like strokes and watercolor, the piece embraces
the bloody and dark elements that define Astarion’s existence as a
vampire spawn under the control of Cazador Szarr. This fan art is a
tribute to one of my favorite characters of all time, drawn from their
love for both Baldur’s Gate 3 and Astarion’s complex, compelling story.
